The Bullet That Missed (Thursday Murder Club #3)

Genre: Cozy Mystery / Crime Fiction
My Rating: ★★★★☆

By book three, the club has their rhythm — and so does Richard Osman. This one introduces a cold case involving a missing journalist, a suspicious news anchor, and an investigation that reaches back decades.

There’s a tiny bit of a slower burn at the start again, but it pays off. We get even more lovable chaos from Joyce (bless her), a fresh wave of character development for the crew, and new twists that prove this series still has plenty of gas in the tank.

Bonus points for some genuinely moving moments and a villain you kinda want to like. Almost.
