Our favorite gang of pensioners is back — and this time, the stakes are personal. While still recovering from the events of Book One (and sipping tea like champs), a mysterious letter from the past throws Elizabeth right into the middle of a high-stakes revenge plot involving old friends, stolen diamonds, and some seriously shady characters.
What I loved about this one? It’s faster-paced than the first, with a plot that feels just as emotionally rich as it is twisty. We get deeper into each character — Joyce continues to be chaotic and delightful, Ibrahim’s storyline will break your heart a little, and Ron… well, Ron’s still Ron.
