Narrated by: Mozhan Navabi & Andrew Eiden
My Rating: ★★★★★
Format: Audiobook
I went into this one unsure — I’d seen the hype, but wasn’t totally convinced it would live up to it. Spoiler: it did. And then some.
Jeneva Rose can write. The plot moves quickly without feeling rushed, and the suspense builds in a way that keeps you questioning everything. The back-and-forth perspective between husband and wife adds tension and depth — I love when a story lets you see both sides, especially when you’re not sure who to believe.
The main character, Sarah, was a standout for me. She’s confident, strong, and smart, but also grounded and humble enough to keep you on her side. I found myself rooting for her from the start. She’s one of those rare female leads in thrillers who actually feels real — not cold, not overdramatic, just sharp and steady.
The narration by Mozhan Navabi and Andrew Eiden was incredibly well done. Mozhan captures Sarah’s strength and vulnerability in a way that made her feel completely real, and Andrew adds just the right tone of emotional tension and uncertainty. The back-and-forth storytelling format flowed naturally and kept me fully engaged the entire time.
Bottom Line:
If you’re in the mood for a smart, twisty domestic thriller with strong narration and a lead character you’ll actually root for, The Perfect Marriage is absolutely worth the listen.
