About

About me

Audiobook addict, bookish late bloomer, and mom running on tea and plot twists (the beverage and the gossip, thank you very much).

Fun fact: I used to hate reading. In high school, I relied on Cliff Notes (shoutout to fellow slackers) or had my best friend read the books aloud to me while I zoned out. But somewhere in college, I stumbled into a book that actually caught my attention — and it clicked: stories were a way to escape my anxiety and feel grounded.

Fast forward to today: I’ve got two kids, a full-time job, and very little quiet time. Enter: audiobooks. Now, I devour stories in the car, while folding laundry, or hiding in the pantry from my children (don’t judge).

Read Between the Lines (and Speakers) is where I share real reviews of both books and audiobook performances — because sometimes the narration makes the story. If you’re busy, book-curious, or just need something new in your ears, you’re in the right place.
